I’m an enterprise cloud architect specializing in innovative architecture and automation solutions for AWS.
I got my bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2014, then started working in cloud services for one of the world’s top enterprise software companies. I got to solve some pretty cool and intense problems in a cutting-edge AWS-based shop, including an insane database automation project that essentially re-implemented SQL Server RDS on top of EC2 at massively multitenant scale.
In February of 2016 I transitioned to a new role that aligns directly with my passion: designing, implementing and integrating software tools and services that help developers deploy code and operations personnel maintain it. Did someone say DevOps?
In my spare time, I am working on a master’s degree in computer science through Georgia Tech’s awesome OMSCS program.
I love learning new things and sharing them with the cloud community. This blog is my all-purpose repository for AWS hacks, technical commentary and general musings about work and life.
Oh, and every so often I draw a cartoon.
